The tribe is eyeing the Pautipaug County Club, a members-only golf course and clubhouse.
No purchase price was disclosed but the golf properties are appraised at slightly more than $3.2 million and assessed at nearly $2.3 million, the paper said.
The nearby Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is opening an $80 million golf resort later this month.
