Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe faces major water crisis

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota met with local, state and federal officials to discuss the impending water crisis on the reservation.

The tribe's water system depends on the Cheyenne River. But water levels in the river are so low that tribal officials predict the system will be unusable by August.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is completing a study to consider options for the tribe.
