The FBI has arrested a 25-year-old Navajo man whom authorities say admitted to the brutal rape and attack of a 46-year-old Navajo woman.
The March 17 incident occurred in Nageezi, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation. Delbert Lopez, who said he was intoxicated at the time, faces charges of aggravated sexual abuse by force or threat, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
