The South Dakota Senate passed a resolution on Tuesday to support the construction of powwow grounds along the Missouri River near Pierre.
The United Sioux Tribes is proposing to operate an outdoor performing arts and events facility near the Oahe Dam. No state money has been approved for the project so far.
