The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona dedicated two new Head Start centers on Wednesday with a third one on the way.
The state-of-the-art centers will provide early education to rural parts of the reservation, said chairwoman Vivian Juan-Saunders. The 10,000-square-foot facilities come with new buses, computer systems and playground equipment.
The tribe used $5 million in gaming revenues to build the centers.
