The Cherokee Nation is sending its boys and girls basketball teams to the state playoffs in Oklahoma City.
The Sequoyah High School boys and girls teams are both competing in the class 3A tournament. Semi-final rounds are being played tonight.
Thousands of Cherokees are expected to attend the playoffs. The tribe had been broadcasting the games live at the tribal complex.
