The tribal college on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in South Dakota is raising $40 million for its new campus.
Sitting Bull College has raised a little over $12 million so far. The money has financed the construction of a new science and technology building, a cultural center and 18 family-student housing units.
The cultural center was dedicated in 2002. Staff and faculty are moving into the science and technology building starting on Friday.
