Former Interior deputy secretary J. Steven Griles has formed a new lobbying group, Al Kamen of The Washington Post reports.
Griles is working with former representative George R. Nethercutt (R-Washington), who lost his bid for Senate, and former White House national energy policy director Andrew D. Lundquist. Their group is called Lundquist, Nethercutt & Griles.
During his tenure at the Interior Department, Griles came under fire for contacts with his former clients. He received nearly $1.1 million from his former lobbying firm while employed with the federal government.
