A reserve police officer for the Suquamish Tribe of Washington won't face charges for fatally shooting a man last October.
David Quichocho was justified in shooting Hunter M. Shearer because his life was in danger, the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office said. A report laid out the details of the October 15 incident.
Shearer was being pursued by Quichocho and other tribal officers because calls to 911 reported a dangerous driver on the roads. Shearer rammed his vehicle into a tribal cruiser and was endangering others, the report said. Quichocho stopped him by shooting him in the chest.
