The All Nations Pishkun Association of Montana is seeking to protect the site of North America's longest buffalo jump.
Currently, only half of the site is under protection as the Ulm Pishkun State Park. The group wants the state to expand the park to cover adjacent land also held by the state.
All Nations says the entire area is home to sacred sites that are threatened by potential development and the influx of black-tailed prairie dogs.
