The FBI and the Bureau of Indian Affairs are investigating the theft of an historic headdress from the Sitting Bull College in North Dakota.
The headdress, which dates to the late 1800s, was stolen from the library sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. The thieves broke the door to the library and the glass case in which the headdress was displayed.
The college is offering a $1,000 reward and says it won't press charges against those who come forward voluntarily.
