Haskell Indian Nations University expects about 1,000 freshmen and returning students to be enrolled for the fall semester.
More than 400 students enrolled on Monday. A few hundred freshman are expected to sign up for classes today.
Haskell registrar Manny King said the school accepted 503 new and transfer students and 704 returning students. He said about 20 percent decide not to attend.
