A federal jury in Montana is set to begin deliberations in a murder case on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.
Orville David Morrison Sr., 27, is charged with second-degree murder for the fatal shooting of William Alvin Wick, 43. The incident occurred in October 2004.
Morrison took the stand in his own defense on Tuesday, the second day of the trial.
He said the shooting was accidental.
His testimony conflicted with that presented by Wick's widow, Tonia Wick, and Wick's cousin, Collette Fisher. On Monday, they said Morrison shot Wick after a confrontation.
