The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has hired its first chief of staff.
Gary D. Stopp, a member of the Cherokee Nation, will help the tribe with legislative, government affairs, policy analysis and economic development issues. He will provide support for the tribal council.
Stopp previously worked for the Cherokee Nation and the Creek Nation.
