President Bush on Tuesday signed into law a bill to return 15,000 acres to the Colorado River Indian Tribes.

H.R.794, the Colorado River Indian Reservation Boundary Correction Act, returns a 25-square-mile parcel to the tribe. The land was part of the reservation created by executive order in 1876 but was removed by President Woodrow Wilson in 1915 amid tribal disputes with miners and cattlemen.

The land is located in Arizona. The reservation spans Arizona and California.

The bill states that the land "shall neither be considered to have been taken into trust for gaming nor be used for gaming" as defined by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.
