Men indicted for hunt on South Dakota reservation

Five people have been indicted on federal charges for what authorities say was an illegal deer hunt on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation.

The five men organized the hunt and sought licenses from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. But when the tribe didn't issue them, the men illegally took deer from the South Dakota portion of the reservation, federal authorities allege.

The men are affiliated with a guide company based in North Dakota that charges clients as much as $5,700 for hunting excursions.
