A group of women delegates to the Navajo Nation Council are making a wagon journey to the council's annual session.
The Eastern Navajo Lady Delegates start their trip from Crownpoint, New Mexico, today. They hope to meet with tribal members along the way to Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation, where the session begins on Monday.
Delegate Alice Benally coordinated the wagon journey in response to the mens' delegates annual horse ride to the council session.
