"I read with interest Mr. Clay's letter expressing his wish that the immigrants should go home and I felt compelled to write to say that I agree with Mr. Clay 100 percent. Immigrants have literally ruined this country by polluting the water, the air and building huge crowded cities where crime and disease run rampant. They brought strange customs and foods to this country and tried to force their religion on the rest of us. He is right, we do have too many sardines in the can. And as a proud member of the Cherokee tribe, I would like to ask Mr. Clay, when are you leaving and may I help you pack?"
