A judge for the U.S. Court of Indian Offenses ruled that the Kiowa Tribe's election board wrongly denied scores of tribal members a chance to vote in an upcoming election.
The judge also said the election board wrongly took two candidates off the ballot. So the election has been pushed back to August 20 in order to allow more tribal members to register to vote and to allow more candidates to seek office.
