The Tulalip Tribes of Washington will start a food inspection program to judge the quality of food establishments on the reservation.
The Indian Health Service already inspects food establishments on the reservation, including three restaurants at the tribal casino. But for the first time, the tribe will make public the results.

The director of tribe's health and human services department said the IHS standards are the same as those used by Snohomish County.
