The Chippewa Cree Tribe held a three-day economic summit this week to explore more ways to bring revenue to the Rocky Boy's Reservation in Montana.
The tribe has started an economic development corporation to explore different plans. A feasibility study was already prepared on building an ethanol refinery.
Other ideas include a new casino closer to the highway and a convenience store with a fast-food restaurant. The tribe already opened a gas station and a smoke shop.
