Native law students host annual fundraiser
Tuesday, April 12, 2005
The 2nd Annual NDNLaw'Plooza Concert, a fundraiser for the National Native American Law Students Association, will be held on Friday in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This year's concert features three Native acts. The headliner is Red Earth, a local band with Pueblo roots that mixes Native, Latin, reggae, world and other musical genres. Also on the bill is DJ Abel, a hip-hop artist with a Native edge, and Strike, a reggae band from the Navajo Nation.
NDNLaw'Plooza will be held at the Launchpad in downtown Albuquerque. It coincides with the
Federal Bar Association's annual Indian Law Conference.
