A 16-year-old Navajo teen battling leukemia needs a bone-marrow transplant and his family is encouraging Native Americans to become donors.

David Lister, 16, is undergoing chemotherapy at the Phoenix Children�s Hospital in Arizona. He was diagnosed with leukemia in August 2004.

Lister's family has set up several bone-marrow drivers in hopes of finding a donor. Only 60,000 Native Americans are on a a worldwide donor list, said his father.
