An outpouring of donations for the recent South Asian tsunami has ended up helping the Te-Moak Tribe in Nevada.
A shipping company in Montana had received more than seven tons of clothing that were originally meant for victims of the disaster. But through an unusual set of circumstances, the tribe was able to take some of the clothing back to the reservation. Otherwise, the donations may have ended up in a landfill.
Other groups and charities in Montana and Nevada also have benefited.
