For the second year in a row, the girls basketball team from the Mississippi Choctaw Reservation won the state Class 3A championship.
The Lady Warriors of Choctaw Central High School finished the season 37-1. The team has lost only three games in the past two seasons.
The team also pulled off another feat and was rated the top girls basketball team in The Jackson Clarion-Ledger's annual poll for the second year in a row.
