The alcohol and drug treatment program operated by the Crow Tribe of Montana has received a three-year accreditation by an international commission.
The tribe took over the program from the Indian Health Services three years ago. More than 400 people have been treated since then.
Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities could help the tribe take over state treatment programs.
