A school district in Pennsylvania that still uses a "Redskins" mascot is debating whether the name is appropriate.

The Neshaminy district's sports teams began using the name 50 years ago. A student used to dress up as an Indian during games.

That practice was ended about 20 years ago, but the use of "Redskins" and an Indian head logo continues. Some high school students say the school should drop the name because it is offensive to Native Americans.

About two dozen high schools in the Philadelphia area still use mascots named after tribes. Neshaminy is the only one to use "Redskins."
