The Crow Tribe of Montana is looking for ways to better manage its growing herd of bison.
The herd numbers around 1,100, several hundred higher than the ideal amount. Drought conditions force the animals to wander off the reservation in search of food.
The tribe recently harvested about 200 bison. Some of the meat was sold but prices are currently low.
