A former librarian for a boarding school on the Navajo Nation was sentenced to more than eight years in federal prison for sexually abusing seven boys.
Stephen Van Keuren, 54, was found guilty in May 2004 of 14 counts of abusive sexual contact. The abuse occurred from August 2000 to April 2003 at the Crystal Boarding School.
Van Keuren's sentence of 97 months was the maximum allowable.
