A member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe is suing the WalMart Corporation for $25 million, alleging he was the victim of racial discrimination as an employee.
Greg Clements worked at a WalMart in Chadron, Nebraska, about 50 miles south of the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. He said he complained to superiors when two fellow employees pointed a loaded gun at him and taunted him about being an Indian.
Clements says nothing was done about the situation. He has since left WalMart and says he fears for his safety.
