Voters of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana ousted chairman Alvin Windy Boy Sr. on Tuesday.
Challenger John "Chance" Houle won the election 727-515, The Great Falls Tribune reported.
Four at-large council members were also chosen yesterday. They are: Brian "Kelly" Eagleman, Kenny Writing Bird, Donovan Stump and Raymond "Jake" Parker Jr.
