The Tohono O'odham Nation in Arizona will break ground on a $7.1 million cultural center and museum on Friday.
The facility will feature exhibits, classrooms, a library and an area to house artifacts being repatriated from institutions nationwide. Most of the museum will be open to the public, with the repository open on a limited basis for research.
Construction will begin next month and the center is expected to open in December 2005.
