Attendance at the 18th annual Black Hills Pow Wow increased significantly, The Rapid City Journal reported.
Nearly 8,500 people and 1,200 dancers attended the three-day event. This was up from 6,200 people and 800 dancers last year.
The pow-wow was held in Rapid City last weekend.
