Residents of the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota can cast absentee ballots starting today.
The early voting offices allow people to cast ballots without having to leave the reservation. Previously, tribal members had to go to another county.
Early voting started last week on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. The non-partisan Four Directions Committee is paying for the cost of the voting offices on both reservations.
