American Indian Movement activist Russell Means will face Cecilia Fire Thunder, a nurse, on November 2 for president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.
Means says he is running to stop corruption and misspending within the tribe. He says people need an honest government.
Fire Thunder also says trust is important. If elected, she would be the first woman president of the tribe.
Means and Fire Thunder were the top vote-getters in Tuesday's primary. Incumbent President John Yellow Bird Steele was ousted.
