The 18th annual Black Hills Pow Wow is expected to draw 11,000 people to Rapid City this weekend.
From Friday through Sunday, the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center will be filled with dancers, drum groups, food booths and arts and crafts vendors. The theme of the He Sapa Wacipi is "Come Dance with Us."
The pow-wow will be holding two meals, sponsored by the Democratic and Republican parties. Sen. Tom Daschle (D-South Dakota) is holding Friday's meal while Gov. Mike Rounds and Daschle rival John Thune will be at Saturday's meal.
