Agents from the FBI and the Department of Housing and Urban Development seized records from the Choctaw Nation's housing authority, The Daily Oklahoman reports.
The agents showed up to the authority's headquarters on Friday with a search warrant. They spent several hours reviewing documents and seized boxes of records, the paper said.
The records had been subpoenaed by a grand jury but the tribe apparently did not produce them in a timely manner.
