Native artists hosting show during NMAI opening

Nineteen Native artists from around the country will host a special art show next week during the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian.
The show takes place at the Hotel Washington on Wednesday, September 22, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A mix of paintings, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, clothing, and ceramic sculpture will be on display.
Among the artists whose work will be showcased are: Ed Archie Noisecat, Virgil Ortiz, Mateo Romero, Michael Horse, Ron Jackson, Jane Osti and Kenneth Johnson. The public is invited to attend.
The Hotel Washington is located at 515 15th Street NW at Pennsylvania Avenue near the White House. The show will be in the hotel ballroom.
