The Samish Nation of Washington is regaining lands it lost nearly a century ago.
The tribe purchased 80 acres for a housing development. The land is near Campbell Lake.
Three years ago, the tribe asked the Bureau of Indian Affairs to take the property into trust. The BIA finally agreed after the county objected.
The tribe has purchased some more land and also wants it placed in trust.
