The IRS is seizing gas tankers headed for the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation in New York.
The IRS says the tribe is importing the gas from Canada without paying U.S. taxes. Officials estimate the shipments have cost the U.S. $79 million over five years.
So far this week, agents seized 11,000 gallon from one tanker. The tribe says it is considering legal action.
