The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is honoring veterans for its 200th annual pow-wow.
Family members and friends raised a flag yesterday for Robert "Bob" Stabler. While serving in World War II, Stabler was killed in Italy. He was 19.
For the remainder of the pow-wow, flags will be raised for Johnson Wolf on Friday; George F. Grant Jr., on Saturday, and Frank Sheridan on Sunday.
