The Bureau of Land Management and the Bureau of Indian Affairs are being asked to allow the public more time to comment on a plan to drill for gas on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming.
The BLM and the BIA have opened a 45-day comment period. But local landowners said they need more time to review the 3-inch-thick document.
The Tom Brown Inc. wants to increase the number of wells in the area from 178 to 325.
