A new program targets drinking among Native youth in Nebraska.
"Protecting You/Protecting Me" was developed by Mothers Against Drunk Driving and tailored to the Winnebago, Omaha and Santee Sioux tribes. Coordinators will implement the program this fall at reservation schools and reservation communities.
The program will utilize high school students to educate elementary children about the dangers of drinking.
