The American Indian Movement is sponsoring the 14th annual Sacred Pipes Sundance in Pipestone, South Dakota.
The Sundance began July 23 and runs through Sunday. It has drawn people from as far away as Ontario, Canada.
The Sundance requires participants to avoid alcohol, tobacco and drugs for the year leading up to the ceremony.
