Leonard Crow Dog, a Lakota medicine man, says the Sun Dance and other Lakota ceremonies should be shared with non-Natives.
Crow Dog, a former American Indian Movement activist, allows non-Natives to take part in Sun Dances he holds. He criticizes other who want to limit the ceremonies to Natives.
Crow Dog is currently leading a Sun Dance in Nebraska. It is believed to be the first one held in the area in recent years.
