A new law in Florida requires the state, counties and cities to come up with a list of "offensive or derogatory" place names that could be removed.
Places like Jew Point, Redskin Hammock, Negro Jim Hammock Bridge and Squaw Pond are among those targeted for removal. Local officials will have final say over "offensive" names.
The state will approve any new names by next March. The renaming process is not mandatory.
