Students at the new Indian school Minneapolis say they appreciate the school's focus on accountability as well as academics.
The Anishinabe Academy has more rules than the old Four Winds American Indian Magnet School, which closed last year amid dropping performance and complaints from the community. But students don't mind the changes and they have better test scores and lower truancy rates to prove it.
The school still emphasizes Indian culture. Most of the student body is Indian.
