Hundreds attended a funeral on Tuesday for Jacob Viarrial, governor of Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico.
Viarrial was remembered for bringing his tribe into financial prosperity, with a casino, hotel and other development. He served as governor of the tribe for more than 20 years.
Viarrial died of a heart attack while visiting friends in Mexico. He was 58.
