Progress steady at Nebraska tribe's village

The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is moving forward with its $20 million commercial and housing development.

Dubbed Ho-Chunk Village, the 40-acre development already includes a discount department store, new homes and a tribal business. Plans are in the works for more retail outlets and more housing.

The tribe broke ground on the village last June using money from federal and other sources.
