Arizona Indian Town Hall brings tribes, state together

The Arizona Indian Town Hall began on Monday, bring 60 tribal leaders with state official to discuss Indian issues and tribal-state relations.

Tribal participants suggested the state attorney general create a liaison to deal with the many tribal-state agreements that have arisen in recent years. Tribes say the attorney general's office is often where the agreements get held up.

The theme of this year's town hall is "Building Partnerships to Strengthen Families, Communities and Cultures." It runs through Wednesday.
